As much as I like my company.... I found this quite amusing... in a weird way.. still cant think why would someone do that.
Every friday, we received an email from the CEO of the company...
and this is what he wrote in his first paragraph...
Dear Colleagues,
Today, I'd like to share with you an amazing, and quite unusual, example of customer loyalty and reciprocity. The Bank was recently contacted by the Executors of an estate of a recently-deceased customer. In his will, the man left a significant part of his estate to the Bank for the service he received during his time as a customer.
It's really pleasing to me that we were able to provide this customer with service that he truly appreciated, and shows how much good service can matter to people. I will ensure that the Bank donates these proceeds to a charity from his local area.
...... basically, someone passed away and gave all his fortune to the Bank!.... I wonder if he has any family.. even if he doesnt, he could've give it to someone else/charity/etc.. hmm why Bank??
anyway, good to hear that the Bank will proceeds all these fortunes to a charity.... =) Which Bank?...
