i was thinking abt my previous post regarding evidence for being a Christian...

just incase you read that and thought to yourself, whether you are a good enough Christian or not.. or perhaps the Q make it seems like the way to be accepted b God is to be a good person and do good things.. i'm sorry.. thats not what i had in mind...

In fact, Christianity is not and never about our performance.
Our acceptance by God has nothing to do with being good. It's not like an exam, whether you passed the test or you failed it. Our acceptance by God is based wholly on Jesus and what he did on the cross.

It is important to understand that being a Christian is not about being good enough but it's about Jesus being good enough and his death on the cross in our place. In response, all we need to do is accept it and let Jesus show us from the Bible how we should live =)
