a little weird, a little scared

hm i just blurt out my mobile number to someone totaly RANDOM!!!

hold on, let me explain.
was reading a bible in the bus, till this lady (around 20-30 in age) sat next to me, turned around and smile and asked me whether i was reading my bible (with her strong Brittish accent) and i said yes! so she said she's a Christian too and just got baptised last Sunday! n yada yada... then i remembered i have brochures about Trivial Pursuit for Next Week Ecom Mission from last night mission briefing! so i took it out and invited her to the women lunch on Monday, she looks interested and she said she wouldnt mind going... and i went "cool! i'll be there too so i'll see you there!" then she said, oh can i have your mobile number? and i was just hmm oh okay and i gave it to her (in hope if she is coming to the lunch thing, and get lost along the way, she can call me up for direction or any other info) and by this time, she has to get off the bus.. (started off the convo at Kensington and her bus stop is at Kingsford)... so i didnt have the time to ask for her mobile number in return...

hmmmmmm.... it seems like i always just give out my mobile numbers to people.. strangers.. cause for me, when they asked, i simply can't say NO... it feels weird saying, "hmmm No, i dont know you" (well, unless someone seems sleazy) (altho, at the same time, i feel strange giving my number to strangers) and plus it's only a mobile number, what's the worst thing that could happen right? especially in this case, it looks like she'll do me no harm, but now after spoken to someone about it, i'm in doubt...

so if you read this post of mine, hmm please tell me, what would you do if you're in my position? would you give out your numbers? or if not, what else would you do? =)

aww

i reckon this one is fine...i probably wouldve given her my number too...but i know what u mean...like she could do anything...but then again whats the chances of her even bothering to use ur number in the first place? let alone how weird she feels now for even asking...like...shes probably thinking "wow i dont even know this person but im acting as if shes a friend...how retarded am i? like...im gonna go to a function with a person i barely know and i feel as though it's completely normal"

i reckon it just shows how friendly you are...and how comfortable she mustve felt=P coz a normal person wouldnt even bother ask for a strangers number, especially if theyre the same gender
